Does anyone know if this tool chain is usable for OMAP family? In my
case the 5912 on the OSK.
The license shows confusion about open source and commercial :)

Whatever comes out to open-source community from TI DSP world should be consider
as a good move :-). And I think this toolchain is for c54x DSP,
OMAP1/2 is having C55x
and C64x in case of OMAP3.
If TI can release anything related to IVA1/2.0, I would consider it as
great move. I think
Komal already tried requesting on this list, but it should go to some
top-level guys in TI wireless.
N800/N810 and other OMAP2/3 related devices can benefit more from that.
