Hi all,
I am new to dsp programming. I have a code which
is using floating point arithmatic. I want to run this
code on the c55x dsp of omap1610 board. But since it
is a fixed point processor,
i suppose i need to convert my code into fixed point
arithmatic.
I am coding in CCS. Can anyone throw some light
regarding

a) how to convert the floating point numbers to fixed
point numbers and perform basic arithmatic operations
(like addition,multiplication etc)

b) how to do scaling.

Also links to some tutorials regarding these matters
will be also of great help to me.

Thanks and regards,
Prakhar.
