I've upgraded the machine to 2.6.38.8 with
b54cd0d5053633373cd3c374aa203024cbf125a0 added and
c3f957a22eca106bd28136943305b390b4337ebf reverted. This makes me believe
that f311847c2fcebd81912e2f0caf8a461dec28db41 is the culprit. Maybe
something in the 32 bit code isn't HPPA 1.1 clean?
