Subject: [PATCH 6.1 043/138] netfilter: validate user input for expected length
Date: Mon, 8 Apr 2024 14:57:37 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20240408125257.568862041@linuxfoundation.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20240408125256.218368873@linuxfoundation.org>
6.1-stable review patch. If anyone has any objections, please let me know.
------------------
From: Eric Dumazet <edumazet@google.com>
commit 0c83842df40f86e529db6842231154772c20edcc upstream.
I got multiple syzbot reports showing old bugs exposed
by BPF after commit 20f2505fb436 ("bpf: Try to avoid kzalloc
in cgroup/{s,g}etsockopt")
setsockopt() @optlen argument should be taken into account
before copying data.
