  So there are two pairs of opposite:

  set assigned ---> unset assigned
  set assigned ---> set deassigned

  Here you prefer the 'verb' set /unset, and I prefer the 'adj.' 
assigned / deassigned.

  Do they really have different meaning or make confusion ? I don't 
think so.
