I wonder if you might want that anyway to keep struct pci_dev consistent when other backports might touch it. The original commit aa9f168d55dc ("s390/pci: Support mmap() of PCI resources except for ISM devices") isn't strictly a fix but it adds quirk support so could be relevant for future backports.
