From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo Subject: [PATCH 08/22] perf tools: Use fallback for sample_addr_correlates_sym() cases Date: Fri, 30 Nov 2018 15:26:38 -0300 Message-ID: <20181130182652.23620-9-acme@kernel.org> References: <20181130182652.23620-1-acme@kernel.org> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit Return-path: In-Reply-To: <20181130182652.23620-1-acme@kernel.org> Sender: stable-owner@vger.kernel.org To: Ingo Molnar Cc: Clark Williams , linux-kernel@vger.kernel.org, linux-perf-users@vger.kernel.org, Adrian Hunter , Andi Kleen , "David S . Miller" , Jiri Olsa , Leo Yan , Mathieu Poirier , stable@vger.kernel.org, Arnaldo Carvalho de Melo List-Id: linux-perf-users.vger.kernel.org From: Adrian Hunter thread__resolve() is used in the sample_addr_correlates_sym() cases where 'addr' is a destination of a branch which does not necessarily have the same cpumode as the 'ip'. Use the fallback function in that case. This patch depends on patch "perf tools: Add fallback functions for cases where cpumode is insufficient".
