Subject: perf message in dmesg
Date: Thu, 16 Apr 2015 10:02:08 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <552F6C80.2000005@bsc.es> (raw)

Hello,

I've been using the perf mem record command recently, and I've just
noticed this message in the dmesg?

   What does it mean?

[ 157.538495] perf samples too long (2504 > 2500), lowering
kernel.perf_event_max_sample_rate to 50000

Thank you very much in advance
