Hi All,
I am profiling the boot time for a ppc system (WR Linux based on 2.6.32
with PREEMPT RT)from powerup till the system is usable. I am running perf
timechart as the first script by init to start recording
(perf timechart record -a -F 125 -m1024 ) and sending a kill sig 2 when
done. My problem is I can't get perf to collect data for more than 5secs
(version 0.0.2.PERF) or 12sec(version 3.0.4). The .svg plotted only for
this duration and perf trace lists that there are enteries beyond this
duration.
I have been breaking my head for some time now but heading nowhere, so
asking for help. If you can point me how can I get the timechart to record
and display for longer duration (around 4min in my case), that would be
very helpful.
Thanks!
Abhi
