Hi everyone.

I think we should start having some IRC meetings next week. We have a lot
to talk about, and a lot of ideas to kick around. I don't think we can, or
should try, to talk about everything in one shot, so it would help to
priortize and organize the meetings. :)

That said, I think it would be good to have a few meetings in a row so we
can get everything out on the table. Say, 1 per week for the first three
weeks, then every other week. Would people be interested in that?

Thursday would work best for me next week, and seems like a good day
anyway. For times, I suggest we rotate the time over the course of three
weeks so we all get a good time and a painful one. :)

How about this:

Meeting 1:

AU US PST US EST EU Time
--
3/18, 00:00	3/17, 07:00	3/17, 10:00	3/17, 17:00

Meeting 2:

AU US PST US EST EU Time
--
3/25, 07:00	3/24, 14:00	3/24, 17:00	3/24, 23:00

Meeting 3:

AU US PST US EST EU Time
--
3/31, 15:00	3/30, 22:00	3/31, 01:00	3/31, 07:00

Someone in the "Comfortable Timezone" can be the one that takes notes and
summarizes each week.

	Pat

Times are fine with me (US EST)

Would it make sense to set up an audio phone bridge, or is IRC
preferred?

thanks,

Ben and I should move to Perth. That would make life easier :>

Speaking of that, I've been considering trying to summarise the outcomes
of all our little subthreads so far. Does that sound like a good idea?
I'm happy to volunteer to do it, but it won't be done until Monday my
time.

Nigel

Heh, I've been thinking about the same for months actually. :) We should
have some sort of working document about what's going on. It could serve
two purposes: to document existing practices and to document future plans.
Please feel free to post something in some format..

I much prefer IRC; I'm much more of a visual person rather than an audial
one. And, I hate the telephone. :)

That's a good idea.

Bernard being the wiz that he is, I'm sure he could set us up one on
suspend2.net. Shall I ask?

Can we post the agreed date/hours of the IRC meeting somewhere ? Or have
something re-post them at least 1 day before the meeting ? I'm bad at
managing my own time :)

I'll post a reminder to the list too if you like.
