I'm trying to add to my powerpc platform a cpu power
management support.
I'm using IBM 750GX.
I red about the ACPI mechanism. Is this type of cpu
support it ? I want to add the kernel some mechanism
that enable to chose which state to put the cpu
(SLEEP,NAP,DOZE),is it possible(recommended) or should
the Linux do it differently ?
Thanks.
