From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Paul Gortmaker Subject: [PATCH] cpufreq: make ti-cpufreq explicitly non-modular Date: Mon, 13 Feb 2017 19:45:02 -0500 Message-ID: <20170214004502.9181-1-paul.gortmaker@windriver.com> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain Return-path: Received: from mail1.windriver.com ([147.11.146.13]:53049 "EHLO mail1.windriver.com" rhost-flags-OK-OK-OK-OK) by vger.kernel.org with ESMTP id S1751452AbdBNApo (ORCPT ); Mon, 13 Feb 2017 19:45:44 -0500 Sender: linux-pm-owner@vger.kernel.org List-Id: linux-pm@vger.kernel.org To: linux-kernel@vger.kernel.org Cc: Paul Gortmaker , Viresh Kumar , Dave Gerlach , "Rafael J . Wysocki" , linux-pm@vger.kernel.org The Kconfig currently controlling compilation of this code is: drivers/cpufreq/Kconfig.arm:config ARM_TI_CPUFREQ drivers/cpufreq/Kconfig.arm: bool "Texas Instruments CPUFreq support" ...meaning that it currently is not being built as a module by anyone. Lets remove the couple traces of modular infrastructure use, so that when reading the driver there is no doubt it is builtin-only. Since module_init translates to device_initcall in the non-modular case, the init ordering remains unchanged with this commit. We also delete the MODULE_LICENSE tag etc. since all that information is already contained at the top of the file in the comments. Cc: Viresh Kumar Cc: Dave Gerlach Cc: Rafael J.
