Subject: Promise TX2-plus and kernel 2.6
Date: Thu, 22 Jan 2004 01:48:20 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20040122004820.GA2515@rap.rap.dk> (raw)
Hi!
Does anybody know what level of support that is planned for the
Promise TX2 Plus SATA disk controller in the 2.6 kernel? My understanding
is that the PATA channels will not work under 2.6, while it works fine
under 2.4. This does have some influence on deciding whether to upgrade
to 2.6 :-(
best regards
Keld
