I would be surprised if it didn't work with your system's PCI slot. I've read lots of threads on various forms (HardForum, ArsTechnica) where people use this card for massive fileservers, and don't recall anyone ever saying it didn't work for them in a regular 32-bit PCI slot. Worst case, order it from a retailer with liberal return policies. As for the kernel module, I believe it's sata_mv. Regards, Matt
