After that i do anything but inform this mailing list and communicat with phil who advise me to run fsck -n /dev/md2 and log the errors to an file. after that i tried various combinations, as i wrote in the first post. since that i do not write to the raid... the problem starts as i wanted to move the disk in the open case slightly while its running. as i do so the sdd and sdf spins down and the error occured - yes it was my mistake ;( perhaps its an problem how i create the partitions on the raid, because of the offset e.g.?? what will we do next? thx all so far
