Hi All
I need help in getting the IBM PCI 4-Channel Ultra3 SCSI RAID Adapter
(2498/4-X) working on a IBM p620 (PPC64). I have Debian running on the
system, and will provided information, compile kernels etc. as needed,
but I am a newbie to the kernel, so I hope you can give me the guidance
needed.
According to this IBM web page, the card is not supported under linux:
http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/systems/scope/hw/index.jsp?topic=/iphak/pcisuppaix_aix.htm
Linux identifies the card as a IBM ServeRAID 4H, which only seems to be
supported under x86.
I hope you can give me pointers into getting this card working.
All the best
Ulrich
