I have Debian running on the system, and will provided information, compile kernels etc. as needed, but I am a newbie to the kernel, so I hope you can give me the guidance needed. According to this IBM web page, the card is not supported under linux: http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/systems/scope/hw/index.jsp?topic=/iphak/pcisuppaix_aix.htm Linux identifies the card as a IBM ServeRAID 4H, which only seems to be supported under x86.
