The "whenever" bothers me ..... Is there any draft code to review for the
new API? I thought this was urgent.

I think the design discussions needed to happen first to avoid wasting time implementing throw-away code.  But I am starting to work on this.  I can't say when I will have draft code available, but I'm wanting something to review in days/weeks, not months.

There is a call scheduled for next Tuesday, it would be awesome to
have a very simple draft code of, say, a PD object or something.

I was thinking of filling in enough of the sketch I wrote to get
there, but I also don't know if I can make time.

Most of IL based Mellanox employees are in vacation now (Passover
holidays), so response is limited now.
