Subject: [PATCH 4.14 21/45] rds: do not leak kernel memory to user land
Date: Fri, 18 May 2018 10:15:38 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20180518081531.399647159@linuxfoundation.org> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20180518081530.331586165@linuxfoundation.org>

4.14-stable review patch. If anyone has any objections, please let me know.

------------------

From: Eric Dumazet <edumazet@google.com>

[ Upstream commit eb80ca476ec11f67a62691a93604b405ffc7d80c ]

syzbot/KMSAN reported an uninit-value in put_cmsg(), originating
from rds_cmsg_recv().

Simply clear the structure, since we have holes there, or since
rx_traces might be smaller than RDS_MSG_RX_DGRAM_TRACE_MAX.
