From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Steven Rostedt Subject: [PATCH -v2 2/7] track highest prio queued on runqueue Date: Mon, 22 Oct 2007 22:59:02 -0400 Message-ID: <20071023032916.333115439@goodmis.org> References: <20071023025900.927578809@goodmis.org> Cc: Linus Torvalds , Andrew Morton , Ingo Molnar , Dmitry Adamushko , Paul Jackson , Gregory Haskins , Peter Zijlstra To: LKML , RT Return-path: Received: from ms-smtp-02.nyroc.rr.com ([24.24.2.56]:59062 "EHLO ms-smtp-02.nyroc.rr.com" rhost-flags-OK-OK-OK-OK) by vger.kernel.org with ESMTP id S1751932AbXJWD3h (ORCPT ); Mon, 22 Oct 2007 23:29:37 -0400 Content-Disposition: inline; filename=add-rq-highest-prio.patch Sender: linux-rt-users-owner@vger.kernel.org List-Id: linux-rt-users.vger.kernel.org This patch adds accounting to each runqueue to keep track of the highest prio task queued on the run queue. We only care about RT tasks, so if the run queue does not contain any active RT tasks its priority will be considered MAX_RT_PRIO. This information will be used for later patches.
