From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: "James" Subject: Re: [PATCH] [RFC] fix compile erros in ini9100 driver Date: Sat, 13 Dec 2003 05:28:19 -0700 Sender: linux-scsi-owner@vger.kernel.org Message-ID: <007f01c3c174$97f3cbd0$0200000a@nightsky> References: <3FD9098B.9090606@us.ibm.com> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Return-path: Received: from breaker.dakotacom.net ([66.192.152.146]:18339 "EHLO breaker.dakotacom.net") by vger.kernel.org with ESMTP id S264563AbTLMM10 (ORCPT ); Sat, 13 Dec 2003 07:27:26 -0500 List-Id: linux-scsi@vger.kernel.org To: Mike Christie , linux-scsi@vger.kernel.org, James.Bottomley@steeleye.com I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but being the only person who still uses this card from what I hear, I guess I have to be... the patch went in flawlessly, compiled flawlessly, and looked beautiful... right up to the point where it went to read the partition tables on the attached drives.. whence it said "Unrecognized partition table".. The driver detected the card and read the drive identifiers with no problem, and even did a perfect block count on them... between the kernel messages flying and this being a server of sorts that I don't like downtime on, I'm playing hell trapping the kernel messages. I'd be happy to copy them down if I could get the kernel to sit still while I do so. -- James Daniel > The attached patch fixes the compile errors from the DMA and scsi_cmnd > next usage.
