This bugzilla is about 2.6.XX. Do you think your patch makes sense for latest
kernels, or this support is already implemented there?

Depends what SCSI level the array reports.  If > 2 then the REPORT_LUNS
scan will already have taken care of all of this.

Well, our SCSI level reports 3. But this patch was specific to allow
non-contiguous LUN mappings for our vendor/model array products on the 2.4.x
kernel only. This is never a problem on 2.6.

 Seeing how we discontinued support for the 2.4.x and that includes our older
products that were qualified for it, I do not see the need to press on with
this patch.

 The bug can be closed. Thank you all for your assistance.

Well, our SCSI level reports 3. But this patch was specific to allow
non-contiguous LUN mappings for our vendor/model array products on the 2.4.x
kernel only. This is never a problem on 2.6.<br> <br> Seeing how we
