Ed - Looks good, I ran some simple tests (no EMC hardware here though).
Greg or Kay, can you please apply Ed's patch?
Note that this requires explicit usage of '-p pre-spc3-83' for EMC
Symmetrix devices or addition to the scsi_id.config file for this to be of
any real use.
udev rules could handle this, but multipathd will also need to set the
option.
