Hello!

after upgrading kernel on machine to 2.6.0-test9 aic79xx driver
stops working.

problem raises just after
cat /dev/sd{a,b} >/dev/null

in 2.4.22 all is fine
disabling TCQ and acpi=off didnt help. also tried other drivers (aic7xxx,
aic7xxx_old), they dont see the card

# lspci | grep SCSI
02:06.0 SCSI storage controller: Adaptec ASC-29320LP U320 (rev 03)

machine is dual xeon 2.4 with 4G RAM and two IBM 40G disks
kernel dmesg and /proc/scsi/aic79xx/0 attached
If you need more info, let me know (please CC as I'm not subscribed to
the list)

        SY, Vladimir
