Dear all,

I'm working on an internet draft dealing with errata in RFC 4960. This document is now
in working group last call and can be accessed via
https://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-tsvwg-rfc4960-errata-04

It would be really great if someone with insights in the Linux SCTP stack could review it
and provide comments on the IETF mailing list tsvwg@ietf.org.

That plan is to get an Informational RFC which describes the required changes to RFC 4960
and then base an upcoming RFC4960bis document on this Informational RFC. This is basically
the same approach as we took when moving from RFC 2960 to RFC 4960. The errata where
documented in RFC 4460.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you very much for your help in advance.

Michael Tüxen

Hi Michael,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

I have no comments on it myself. Have used this Errata some time ago
(we had rwnd/cwnd handling fixes because of the errata), went over it
again now, LGTM and I don't think we have (major) discrepancies due to
it.

Thanks,
Marcelo
