hi,
i have a gigabyte 586dx dual pentium-board with 2 pentium-mmx 200mhz cpu's.
when i run the board with linux 2.2.19 it works fine.
but when i run linux 2.4.18 on the board i get a lot apic-errors for cpu0 and
cpu1.
after some time(<12h) crashes the system.
when i use the "noapic" boot-function i get no apic-errors but the system
crashes after a few days.
can i use the board only with kernel 2.2?
or knows somebody a solution for my problem.
thanks.
