Hello,

I am running RedHat 7.3 with the kernel version 2.4.18-19.7.xbigmem on IBM-x360 server.  This server crashed with the following messages:

mp-bios bug: 8254 time not connected to io-apic
Kernel panic io-apic + timer doesn't work pester mingo@redhat.com


I also found these messages in syslog:


Oct  6 22:53:25 db1-1 kernel: WARNING: MP table in the EBDA can be UNSAFE, contact linux-smp@vger.kernel.org if you experience SMP problems!
