Here it is. You will find below the corresponding part of the output. I use a kernel 2.4.20-20.9smp. The underlying processor is an Intel Pentium 4 CPU 3.06GHz. I guess it is multi-threaded and this is why I obtain such a SMP kernel when I install RH9. Unhapilly, I am a newby for what concerns system and kernel, and I am afraid I cannot help a lot more. I even ignore completely what is an APIC... David.
