Message-Id: List-Id: References: In-Reply-To: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit To: linux-sound@vger.kernel.org I have no luck getting the microphone to work with nForce3 250. Codec manufacturer: Realtek ALC850 Installed the latest driver from NVIDIA, but simply can;t get the microphone working. Bought a C-Media CM8737. Got microphone working, but when other party starts talking the sound locks up (and sometime my network or even the home partition). Before I buy yet an other sound card I would like to know if someone has actually a sound working reliably for IP telephony like Skype ? My local retailer has a Creative Sounblaster Live V5.1 Will it do the job ? -- John Zoetebier Web site: http://www.transparent.co.nz
