How can I get my Turtle Beach Tropez Rev. 2, soundcard to work under
RH5.0 ( kernel 2.0.31). I have tried to configure the card as a MAD16
card, SB clones and MSS. But not a sound through /dev/audio.
I had an old version of Linux, I think it was kernel 1.2.x, 1.3.x or
something then the card worked. Perhaps it may not help you (especially
when I can't remember exactly what kernel I used), but might there have
been some changes in the driver that reject my soundcard.

Onboard chips:

codec: CS4231A (Crystal Semiconductor)
audio interface chip: 82C929 (OPTi)
MPU-401
OPL3
ICS WaveFront synthesizer

Thanks in advance,

Christer Wickman
