hi all.
I'm having a little trouble deciding what soundcard to buy...
basically, i need something that works with linux. more specifically,
i'd like a card priced around $250 (~150 uk pounds) aimed at the lower
end of the pro audio market. features i would want are standard synth
stuff, midi, and ideally a dsp chip. it would also be nice to be able
to have a LOT of control over the dsp chip, but not necessary...
cards i've had a look at are the mediatrix 3d-xg (allthough i have no
idea of its price) and one of the TB cards. any advice would be greatly
appreciated!
thanks, ian
