I'm looking into using linux for hard disk recording in a home studio
environment. I haven't built the box up yet, I'm still decideding on an
operating system. I'd like to go with linux but I'm not sure if the
software available stands up.

From a quick search of the net I didn't see much I was overly impressed
with. Is there anything good out there?
