I've only received automated responses to my >request for docs. Sad, but true ! Most important chip-manufacturers won't give away free specs on their chips. But I still don't understand their point :-( Maybe if we could gather more people interested in a free linux-driver, we could make them change their minds. Just like, for example, NVidia. As I know, after some pressure from the linux community, they finnaly decided to support the development of Mesa and XF86 drivers for their Riva TNT series chips. Although, I think we are already at a point of no return, since OSS has already paid for information under a NDA, as I figured out talking to them. Well, let me know if you're interested in pushing this a little more :-) Regards, --------------------------------------------------------------------- David Jander J. | "M$-Windows sux, Linux Rulez !
