I have one of these cards which I'm using happily under 2.2.9 at the
moment.
I have documented (more or less) how I got it to work with my kernel. I
don't have Redhat 6.0 but you might be interested in:

I haven't been able to get MIDI working though. Nor have I been able to
avoid oops happening if I try to remove the module and then reload it.
(not sure why this one happens and no one on linux-kernel has followed
up to my oops message...)
