Hello everybody on the list.
First of all, I am a newbie to Linux, but I use computers for 15 years,
since the days of ZX Spectrum. I use M$-Dos and M$ Windoze for more than 5
years, but I would appreciate any help with Linux.
I have a Pentium III, with Riva TNT2 32 Mb graphics card, 128Mb Ram and Red
Hat Linux (it seems to be a special edition of Red Hat 6.1, I am not sure,
since it is translated and adapted to Portuguese).
I am not able to use my Sound Blaster PCI 512, and I found some information
about new drivers released by Creative Labs for the SB Live!. Since I heard
they use the same chipset, did anybody have success in making the SB PCI
512 work with the drivers of the SB Live! ?
Does anybody have a solution for making this soundboard work? I would thank
any help you could provide, because I was not able to find anywhere the
information I wanted.
If somebody knows, please help me.

Thanks in advance.
