From what I can tell, the wast uses of SPI in Linux is as an SPI master. Is there
any use cases as a SPI slave?
I fear that the latency can make Linux unsuitable as a SPI slave, has anybody tried?

In personal conversations with technical people, I call myself a hacker. But
when I'm talking to journalists I just say "programmer" or something like that.
