Subject: [uml-devel] 2.6.12.4 + bb12
Date: Wed, 17 Aug 2005 12:09:38 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1124276978.3965.10.camel@localhost.localdomain> (raw)

Hi Paolo,

After applying uml-2.6.12-bb12-skas0.patch.bz2 to 2.6.12.4 I got a few
rejects, I figured these were merged in 2.6.12.x
Then I tried to cross compile a i386 guest on a amd64 host (got to do
this until the memory leak is fixed) but I got this compile error:
# make ARCH=um SUBARCH=i386 vmlinux
(...)
  CC arch/um/sys-i386/ptrace_user.o
  SYMLINK arch/um/sys-i386/semaphore.c
  CC arch/um/sys-i386/semaphore.o
  CC arch/um/sys-i386/signal.o
  CC arch/um/sys-i386/sigcontext.o
  AS arch/um/sys-i386/stub.o
  CC arch/um/sys-i386/stub_segv.o
In file included from /usr/include/asm/sigcontext.h:7,
                 from arch/um/sys-i386/stub_segv.c:7:

make[1]: *** [arch/um/sys-i386/stub_segv.o] Error 1
make: *** [arch/um/sys-i386] Error 2

Any clues.

Thanks
Antoine
