Subject: [uml-devel] FREENIX deadline approaching
Date: Tue, 19 Oct 2004 17:23:26 -0600 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20041019232326.GC7015@speare5-1-16> (raw)
Hello,
I'm on the program committee for FREENIX '05:
http://www.usenix.org/events/usenix05/cfp/freenix.html
We're looking for previously unpublished work involving free software.
I've seen a lot of interesting uses of UML lately, and I suspect that
the members of this mailing list have pioneered some innovative uses
of UML - perhaps involving provisioning, or fault recovery, or high
availability. FREENIX is not just about developing free software,
it's also about innovative uses of free software.
The deadline for submissions is Friday, October 22nd. A 4-5 page
extended abstract is due at that time, with a longer paper to follow.
If you have any questions at all - is your project suitable, how to
write an extended abstract, etc. - I would be happy to answer them.
Thanks,
-VAL
