Subject: [uml-devel] huh, entered softirq 1 TIMER
Date: Tue, 11 Oct 2011 15:30:38 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <201110111530.39765.toralf.foerster@gmx.de> (raw)

With v3.1-rc9-64-g65112dc as host and guest operating system I run often into this :

...
nfs4filelayout_init: NFSv4 File Layout Driver Registering...
Installing knfsd (copyright (C) 1996 okir@monad.swb.de).
Switched to NOHz mode on CPU #0
huh, entered softirq 1 TIMER 08090dd0 preempt_count 00000101, exited with 08351ac5?

or

...
NET: Registered protocol family 17
Registering the dns_resolver key type
Switched to NOHz mode on CPU #0
huh, entered softirq 1 TIMER 08090110 preempt_count 00000100, exited with 0834fad2?

or

...
Checking host MADV_REMOVE support...OK
UML Audio Relay (host dsp = /dev/sound/dsp, host mixer = /dev/sound/mixer)
Switched to NOHz mode on CPU #0
huh, entered softirq 1 TIMER 08090dd0 preempt_count 00000100, exited with 08351ac5?

After that one of my CPU cores is at 100% and nothing more happens ...

A Ctrl-C gives :

huh, entered softirq 1 TIMER 08090dd0 preempt_count 00000100, exited with 08351ac5?
