Subject: [uml-devel] problems with 2.6.8.1 host kernel (skas3)
Date: Sat, 02 Oct 2004 20:15:10 -0400	[thread overview]

We have been experiencing issues with un-killable T mode processes
on a 2.6.8.1 host with the 2.6.7 skas3 patch applied.

We also continue to have an issue with the /proc/PID/environ file not being
owned by the process involved. This keeps our automatic cleaner from
getting the processes which are strays.

I wonder if these things are related.
I can leave this like this for awhile, but I will eventually have to
reboot.
We start/stop about 300 UMLs every night, so whatever is happening
doesn't happen that often.
