From mboxrd@z Thu Jan 1 00:00:00 1970 From: Vivek Goyal Subject: [PATCH 4/9] selinux: Implementation for inode_copy_up_xattr() hook Date: Wed, 13 Jul 2016 10:44:50 -0400 Message-ID: <1468421095-22322-5-git-send-email-vgoyal@redhat.com> References: <1468421095-22322-1-git-send-email-vgoyal@redhat.com> Return-path: In-Reply-To: <1468421095-22322-1-git-send-email-vgoyal@redhat.com> Sender: owner-linux-security-module@vger.kernel.org To: miklos@szeredi.hu, sds@tycho.nsa.gov, pmoore@redhat.com, casey@schaufler-ca.com, linux-kernel@vger.kernel.org, linux-unionfs@vger.kernel.org, linux-security-module@vger.kernel.org Cc: dwalsh@redhat.com, dhowells@redhat.com, viro@ZenIV.linux.org.uk, vgoyal@redhat.com, linux-fsdevel@vger.kernel.org List-Id: linux-unionfs@vger.kernel.org When a file is copied up in overlay, we have already created file on upper/ with right label and there is no need to copy up selinux label/xattr from lower file to upper file. In fact in case of context mount, we don't want to copy up label as newly created file got its label from context= option.
