Thanks, this looks better, but this one should probably have been called
v3 at least.

Note that you have an additional "[PATCH]" in your subject, though.

If you use git-format-patch it has a -v parameter to add the version
number to Subject.

Looks like you don't need to reserve this interface for this device.
