It fails to enumerate on linux, however it does light up and activate when plu= gged in. It does work when connected via the front usb port, just not the rear o= nes. However, it does work with an ASUS Zephyrus G14 (GA403UV, Ryzen 9 8945HS, H= awk Point) running Windows.=20 I did see this in the dmesg logs at one point while testing: "usb usb4: We don't know the algorithms for LPM for this host, disabling LPM". Kernels tested: 6.12.82 and 6.19.13 (NixOS 25.11)=20 Hardware * Laptop: Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 AMD (21M1CTO1WW / 21M1CTO1WWUS1) * CPU: AMD Ryzen AI 7 PRO 360 w/ Radeon 880M (Strix Point, Zen 5) * Dock: CalDigit TS5 Plus Steps to reproduce: 1. Boot Linux on a ThinkPad T14s Gen 6 AMD with the TS5 Plus connected via Thunderbolt. 2. Plug a USB-C device (tested: Insta360 Link 2 webcam, idVendor 2e1a, idProduct 4c04) into any of the three rear USB-C ports on the dock. 3. Observe: device receives power but does not enumerate. dmesg shows no events. lsusb and v4l2-ctl don't list the device. Expected behavior: Device enumerates and is usable, as it does when plugged into the front USB-C port on the same dock. --=20 You may reply to this email to add a comment.
