Is that commit not in stable 2.6.26 yet or something?
I also had to make sure that only one driver got bound to my card, both
p54 and prism54 fought for it.

Ah yeah right; I guess I don't understand the link you posted then. I'd
thought it was something like "you need this patch which Fedora doesn't
have in their kernel".

With the new kernel 2.6.26.3-14.fc8, I see that the prism54 card looks in a correct working mode
(e.g. /sbin/iwlist wlan0 scan shows good scan results).
But after that, wpa_supplicant cannot associate (gets a timeout)
(while it works ok with 2.6.25.14-69.fc8)
I have put below the output of wpa_supplicant for the bad case
and for the good case.
What can I do to further see what is going wrong ?
Thanks

Are you using prism54 or p54 in each kernel?
lsmod | egrep "p54|prism54"

p54pci and p54common are found in both kernel
no modules matching prism54
In fact, a few months ago, after a kernel upgrade, I had to blacklist prism54.
(prism54 is still in the blacklist).

Well, you can blame the fedora people if you want.

Hmm, no? AFAIK The mac80211 multiqueue changes went in somewhere in the
2.6.27-rc cycle. so 2.6.26.stable doesn't need any extra patches, right?

Hmm? I though fedora backported multiqueue back into their 2.6.26?
Atleast, the original (but with a buggy p54) multiqueue patch seems to be in
the linux-wirless-2.6-pending.diff/patch file... but this fix is nowhere to
be found inside fedora's kernel source?
So, Dan? can you add that patch to the next fedora's 2.6.26 kernel release?

Chr

I pinged Kyle McMartin about it -- he has been doing the wireless
kernel updates in Fedora for a little while now.

Applied and building in F-9 now... I'll push them into F-8 as well
assuming the build succeeds.
Thanks for the heads ups,

Note that it seems still broken after upgrading to 2.6.26.5-28.fc8
