so I am running into this one on my X61:

It renders the wireless device useless and module unload/reload doesn't
help either. Is this the AMT issue again or something totally different
with the latest ucode?

This machine is running Linus' tip from today. I am currently not
running wireless-testing since it is not synced up with Linus tree at
the moment.

Not sure. Marcel, please load iwlagn with debug=0x43fff. We can then
track the uCode failure.

too late. I need that wireless card working and so I rebooted. I try to
remember it for next time. Also I have seen this one for the first time
and I have literally no clue on how I got the card into that mode.
