I confirm that ath5k and ath9k actually work on that kernel, so the
results are good.
There are some funny messages from ath9k, but scanning still works, and
I don't think it's related to compat-wireless:

Perhaps you mean 2.6.26? Anyway, I'd rather see
dma_sync_single_range_for_device() for ARM backported.
