Hello,

I have problem with b44 driver after install compact-wireless 
(2008-05-07). I can't load this module. In dmesg I can see:

Kernel version 2.6.24.7 (in all 2.6.24 series I have this problem. I 
don't use 2.6.25 becouse it has ACPI bug).

You can't use compat, if you use the in-kernel b44.
