As far as i understand, the wireless regdb should include the bands that do
not require obtaining permit of any kind and do not require one to notify
any regulatory agencies about the place/puprose/whatever of an installed
WiFi equipment.
But according to my reading of the latest regulations (15 Jul 2010,
N10-07-02) [1] one still needs to obtain a permit (though it's supposed to
be fairly simple) to use the 5GHz band mentioned.
Leonid, do you have an alternative opinion?

If I remember correctly Micheal had noted it was OK to use 5 GHz and
HT40 on RU, Michael?
