See my post about inconsistent {IN-SOFTIRQ-W} -> {SOFTIRQ-ON-W}.
I'm not sure it's the same bug, but it would appear similar at least.
If your patch is probably good, I can go ahead and apply it.
We can at least test that it doesn't obviously make things worse.
