Hello,
I am trying to setup a AR9374 based USB WiFi as AP. I am using the
latest git (3.13-rc8) from: https://github.com/kvalo/ath and hostapd
v2.0. My client is able to associate with the AR9374 AP but I am unable
to ping it. I used wireshark to observe the ping from AR9374 to client.
I have attached the wireshark captures.
1) gemicomlinux.pcapng
This contains the Wireshark observation at the AP (AR9374). The ping was
done from AP to client. We can see the ping broadcast but no ICMP request.
2) intelclient_gemicomAP.pcapng
This contains the Wireshark observation on the client side. The client
is able to see the the broadcast message from AR9374 and replies with
its MAC address.
Why is the ICMP request not sent from the AR9374?
Regards,
Pannir
